http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h40/sijennasy/dec2708/4954b8a9.jpg?t=1257828228

i immediately left the surprise because i had to meet this beijinger friend for lunch. we're helping each other, btw. im teaching him english (for his IELTS) and he's teaching me chinese! lurvs it. we met at around 12.30pm. god knows what time we're supposed to end the meeting, until emily called me for help! her dad sent her this HUGE package from the states! she couldnt carry it from one end to the other, so she asked if she can settle everything in my room (which is near the post office).

http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h40/sijennasy/dec2708/aa8e1f0d.jpg?t=1257828225

another korean friend, hannah (her best friend), came to help her carry all her winter clothes to her dorm. they took everything off the box and just borrowed 2 bags from me. it was already 6.30pm (they stayed for like 3-4 hours!) and i had to leave to get my VEGAN CAKEEEEEEEE.

http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h40/sijennasy/dec2708/cd4bd046.jpg?t=1257828214

her name is laura. she's a vegan food enthusiast. and thank god she is because i made her bake me a vegan cakeeeeee! well... she made muffins alongside...

http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h40/sijennasy/dec2708/1d2dfa28.jpg?t=1257828221

it's still fall, but it already snowed NOVEMBER 1 in beijing. that was a sunday, and we were in this posh mall called "the village" the day before that...

http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h40/sijennasy/dec2708/75442cca.jpg?t=1257249871

i dont have much to say about it aside from the good food i had! lookie lookie, it's VEGETARIAN goose. the name is soooo weird as to have the word "goose" in it; when in fact it's purely vegetarian. i still LURV'D it anyway! L!OL

http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h40/sijennasy/dec2708/1c897bd9.jpg?t=1257249795

after going out with my classmates, i went out with my pinoy friends to the halloween party. oh a little info on my financial status, IM BROKE. my atm card was eaten up by the atm machine when i intended to withdraw money last week. so my friends and i just went to this club where entrance is free for those in halloween costumes. since it was packed, we couldnt get in for free anymore unless we payyyyy. there goes my 50rmb (x 7php)!

the highlight of the morning was when we were going home from the halloween party. as i told you, it SNOWED. i've seen snow before (not on tv, mind you), but i have never experienced being unprepared for snow AND rain AND wind. haiya. i had my winter jacket dry cleaned afterwards. sadness.

NOVEMBER 2. my classmates and i had dinner together in a korean restaurant (againnnn). okay, i've had enough of chinese and korean food. not that i actually eat in the korean restaurants we go to, but it doesnt matter. i want ITALIAN FOOD, or simply healthy food. i miss those days.

http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h40/sijennasy/dec2708/1b9a6456.jpg?t=1257249799

the boys wanted korean barbecue so korean barbecue it is! (i didnt eat at all because i ate so much during lunch).

here's a closer look at the barbrcue...

http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h40/sijennasy/dec2708/5f2b2c62.jpg?t=1257249929

although it might interest you to actually try it, i highly encourage everyone to have a vegetarian diet! l!OL

after the korean dinner, i went to meet up with the jugglers. there were guests from britain and the states that night. it was a longgggg and tiring day, but i got happy as the britons thought i have an american accent and the american thought im korean! l!OL

http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h40/sijennasy/dec2708/efc6e72d.jpg?t=1257249933

so this girl i met, she's vegan as well! and guess what, SHE BAKESSSSSS. she has been to the philippines and was able to try some filipino food. that night, she brought cake! i swear im sooo happy i met her because aside from her cake being delicious, it's UBE PANDAN! im asking her to bake and cook for meeeeee. you know money is no object when it comes to vegan treats!

i have vegan/vegetarian friends in beijing alreadyyyyyy!

doodle noodle

LATELY ive been collecting "imported" instant noodles for the heck of trying.

mie sedap is an indonesian instant noodles which means yummy noodles. mie means noodles, and sedap is delicious. sounds familiar?! a bit. sometimes our indonesian friends try to guess what the hell we, filipinos, are talking about everytime we speak to each other in filipino. some words like "antok", "bawang", "bait" and "bihon" are used with the same meaning in indonesia. cool huh?! l!OL

http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h40/sijennasy/dec2708/65cc0921.jpg?t=1256626304

this korean instant noodles is called chaospageti (or chao spaghetti?!). anyway, im amused by the korean language. watch my videos in this entryyyyyyy!

happiness is playing poi

check out this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hKKjqzkGo3o

yesterday i went out with a thai friend to buy her thai food somewhere east. after which, she accompanied me to this mall where i met some "cool" beijing people. anyway, im met with them because we're jamming different juggling techniques together. like they have pure juggling, diablo, staff, contact juggling, unicycle and some other stuff. i went there for poi -as poi is considered juggling. you know, i thought it was hard to blend in at first because i only do poi... but then i felt really welcomed that i can just poi whenever im with them. basta im soooo happy! i was able to poi in the open area of the mall for quite a long time (consider 2 minutes?!) and i was able to do some tricks which i dont/cant do in my room. it's like a revival of a true love. ahhhh.

there was this girl who took a video of me (some took pictures, just saying)... and she asked where im from, etc. then she asked me to tell her something happy that happened to me today. i told her that im happy to be in the place, which was planned since monday. i totally regret saying that because im HAPPIEST TO POI. i really dont know how to explain the feeling -probably charlie brown can!

where in manila

HOWDY! i just came back to beijing after a short vacation in manila! im so sorry but i really felt anti-social so i was kinda invisible the whole time i was there. anyway, i just came back because of the graduation!

(i dont wanna show grad pics in this blog. thank gawd my dad doesnt know how my camera works!)

http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h40/sijennasy/dec2708/20abe81a.jpg?t=1255409254

i was kinda busy resting and doing some chores in manila. i also had to study whatever lessons we have in (my chinese) class. hence i didnt have the time to meet all of my friends, really. oh, and i also had a haircut from philippe. guess how short my hair is nowwwwwwwww.

(i totally forgot to bring my real camera... hmmm.)

http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h40/sijennasy/dec2708/3788342c.jpg?t=1255409257

it is THIS short. the shortest hair ive got in my entire life!

http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h40/sijennasy/dec2708/d6b6691d.jpg?t=1255409260

i had the haircut hours after graduation, so only my family saw how i look like with the new hair. i flew back to beijing the day after grad, which is october 11 (last sunday)!

P.S. i went to walmart immediately after i unpacked all my things in my beijing room. this, i saw and got tempted to buy.

http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h40/sijennasy/dec2708/129fc4ff.jpg?t=1255409261

http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h40/sijennasy/dec2708/872da5c7.jpg?t=1255093385

and i dont know if i will be completely happy tomorrow because he wont be graduating with us.
